Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is a popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films, as well as a couple of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Her other awards include the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South, and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She began her career as a child actress at the beginning of 2000 and returned to films after studying fashion design. She played her first major part in Geethaanjali (2013) which was which was a Malayalam movie. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and signed on to be a part of several Tamil films at the same time. The director it was A. L. Vijay along with Vikram and Vikram, who premiered Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. It didn't go quite well, however it did get released. To fit in more ambitious projects, she needed to pull out of films she had already begun working on. These include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. In a short time she also worked with Sivakarthikeyan in Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead for Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. The film that she played in was her Telugu debut was planned as Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The release of the film was pushed back in the year 2015, and will now be after September 2020. The film will be released under an alternative title Janakitho Nauu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and was starring actor Ram Pothineni.
