Singer and songwriter John Denver touched millions of people, and achieved superstar status by his folk-inspired pop hits many of them based in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell, New Mexico. He was enthralled by Colorado and settled down in Aspen. Many people made their way through Colorado after listening to Denver's iconic national anthems in his new home. I don't think there's any another performer in the world who is as empathetic to Colorado such as John Denver said G. Brown the curator of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. In 2011, Denver was named the Hall of fame's first inductee. Denver has become the image of Colorado for a lot of people throughout the world. It is commonplace to meet people from different countries, such as New Zealanders. They ask them "I come from Colorado" then they reply "Oh John Denver. Brown declared. Denver's debut Top 10 hit as a solo artist following a brief stint in smaller folk groups comprised of Take Me Home Country Roads co-written with Bill Danoff. Danoff composed the track in conjunction with Johnny Cash in mind but after Denver first heard the song immediately, he realized the song could be one of the top hits. After performing the track at Washington D.C. to a large audience, Denver did a song recording just a few days afterward.
